Erin has close to 20 years experience as a practicing attorney, developing a comprehensive understanding of U.S. and international private-sector privacy laws and regulations. Erin serves on the American Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Legal Task Force and is a past president of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Privacy and Data Security Section. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Erin regularly assists businesses with their thorniest privacy and data protection concerns, providing proactive privacy and information security compliance and legal advice, managing privacy-related enforcement actions, litigation, and representing companies in reactive incident response situations.
